Abstract :
A new s-Ca19Cu2(PO4)14 monophosphate with the whitlockite-like structure was synthesized and its structure was determined by the Rietveld analysis (Rwp = 6.15%, Rp = 4.66%, R1 = 3.44%, RF = 2.08% for 758 reflections). The crystal symmetry is trigonal (R3c space group, Z = 3) and the hexagonal unit cell parameters are a = 10.3638(1) Å, c = 37.219(2) Å, and V = 3462(2) Å3 The copper atom is octahedrally coordinated.
