Abstract :
A new deposition technique based on laser-induced vaporization and ionization of biomolecules is described and experimental results are reported on the integrity and biological functionality of the deposited molecules. Micron-size patterning of depositions is achieved, and first surface characterizations by scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy are reported.
