Abstract
Structural properties of nickel- and copper-fluoroplast composites were studied by electrochemical, metallographic, and microscopic methods. It was shown that incorporating of fluoroplast particles in metal matrix leads to the refining of grains and changing of their form to equiaxed. The surface of these composites had a lower roughness in comparison to the pure metal films. The agglomeration of fluoroplast particles in the deposit was determined. Thermal treatment of metal-fluoroplast coatings at 553K did not change structure of metal and incorporated fluoroplast particles. A surface layer of fluoroplast on composite can be produced by molten technique.
