Abstract :
Anhydrous copper(II) hydroxide alkanesulfonates, Cu2(OH)3(CnH2n+1SO3) (n=8 and 10), were synthesized and investigated by means of dc and ac magnetic susceptibility measurements. As a result, a long-range magnetic order, with both antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic interactions, was revealed in the novel compounds.
