  • Abstract
    A self-assembly multilayer thin film with a three-dimensional network and high number density of chromophores is reported. Good quadratic non-linear optical behaviour with layer number is observed within five layers of chromophores. The orientation angle of the chromophore dipole is 35–39 ° with respect to the film surface. The film has high structural stability and structural regularity.
