Spectroscopic studies on inclusion complexes of MAQO and MPQO with cyclodextrins

Two solid inclusion complexes of 2-methyl-3-phenylacryloyl-quinoxaline-N,N′-dioxide (MPQO) and 2-acetyl-3-phenylacryloyl-quinoxaline-N,N′-dioxide (MAQO) have been synthesized. The inclusion complexes have been studied by elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, TGA and DSC, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and ultraviolet induced EPR spectroscopy. Structures of the two inclusion compounds are inferred from the results obtained by above methods.
