The synthesis and selected properties of new double vanadates M2InV3O11, where M = Zn, Mg

New compounds Zn2InV3O11 and Mg2InV3O11 were first obtained as a result of solid-state reactions. The crystallographic system and the unit cell parameters of these compounds were determined, their melting temperatures and the way of melting were established, also IR investigations were conducted.
