Abstract :
Photo-expansion of the bulk of (GeS2)0.74(Sb2S3)0.26 glass induced by sub-gap photons is studied employing specifically atomic force microscopy (AFM) namely an atomic force acoustic microscopy (AFAM) and a force spectroscopy and digital holographic microscopy. The results are discussed with respect to the possible role of light induced overheating in the process of photo-expansion.
