Abstract :
Li3V2(PO4)3/C nanocomposite was synthesized via a simple carbon thermal reduction method using chitosan as both reduction agent and carbon source. The as-prepared Li3V2(PO4)3/C composite exhibits a reversible discharge capacity of 106.91 mAh g−1 at 20 C charge/discharge rate and 91.14 mAh g−1 at 10 C charge/50 C discharge rate. The excellent high-rate capacity and cyclability make the Li3V2(PO4)3/C nanocomposite a promising potential candidate for the cathode material of the battery for EV and other applications.
