Abstract :
The composition dependence of the physical properties which are expected to be sensitive to molecularity has been investigated for a-AsxSe1 − x system. The physical properties exhibit critical composition dependence near x = 0.04/0.06 for a-AsxSe1 ystem. These results are interpreted in terms of intermediate range topological aspects. The composition dependence of the structural and electronic properties in a-AsxSe1 − x suggests that there is a remarkable change of bond connectivity at this composition. The structure undergo the transformation from chain-ring-like morphology to a chain-like morphology with increasing number of cross-linked sites.
