Abstract :
Systematic low field ac susceptibility (acs) measurements have been performed from 77 to 300 K for a-Fe90−xMnxZr10 with x=0–16 alloys. It has been observed that the Curie temperature (Tc) decreases as Mn concentration increases. The critical exponents were extracted from fits to the acs data in the critical region. The values of the exponents are in close agreement with the values predicted from three-dimensional Heisenberg model, indicating no effect of quenched disorder on critical behavior.
