Abstract :
Anomalies (minima of σfp) are discovered in composition dependencies of the critical stress σfp for catastrophic shear of the Fe100−xBx, Fe80−xNixB20 and Fe85−xCoxB15 amorphous alloys. These minima correspond to the eutectic (x=17) in the Fe–B system, to x=40 in the Fe–Ni–B system and to x=40 and 21 in the Fe–Co–B system. Considering mobile dislocations in amorphous alloys located at boundaries between nanoclusters makes it possible to explain and to predict anomalous (non-monotonous) composition dependencies of mechanical properties of amorphous alloys.
