Abstract :
Various parameters associated with the growth of anthracene and stilbene single crystals have been optimized. The quality improvement of the grown crystals is identified using various characterization tools. The grown crystals were characterized using NMR, UV-visible transmission spectral studies, and fluorescence. Decay time of scintillation emission to gamma sources 60Co and 137Cs have been also studied.
