Abstract :
Conductivity and thermal properties on (PEO)16LiClO4 mixed with nanosized ZnO (n-ZnO) particles have been studied. The addition of n-ZnO particles alters the value of Tg, Tm and crystallinity of the (PEO)16LiClO4. By addition of a certain amount of n-ZnO particles, the ionic conductivity at room temperature of the (PEO)16LiClO4 is enhanced by 40 times, which is attributed to the low crystallinity in the electrolytes resulting from the dispersed n-ZnO particles.
