Abstract :
In this paper, the structure and piezoelectric properties of (Ca1−xSrx)Bi4Ti4O15 ceramics (x=0–1.0) are investigated. The formation of single orthorhombic phase is verified by XRD. The dependence of dielectric and piezoelectric properties on x is also determined. The results show that the excellent properties could be found in the composition of x=0.4. In that composition, d33=14.9, TC=677 °C and the DC resistivity is decuplely higher than that of BST (SrBi4Ti4O15) and CBT (CaBi4Ti4O15).
