Abstract :
The AB5 type alloys, such as LaNi5, are used as hydrogen storage materials. The search for new alloys for better hydrogenation process has been conducted. The role of the concentration of conduction electrons was investigated to discover new AB5 storage alloys. The thermoelectric power—Seebeck coefficient—measurement is a technique used to investigate hydrogenation properties and as a tool in studying families of AB5 compound.
