Poissonʹs ratio of two-phase composites

In the present study, a model to predict the upper and lower bounds for the Poissonʹs ratio of two-phase composites is proposed. Only the elastic modulus and Poissonʹs ratio of each component are needed in order to carry out the prediction. Experimental data from other studies were collected and compared with the prediction; reasonable agreement has been found.
