Abstract :
The thermal stability and the crystallization process of multicomponent ferromagnetic Fe77C5B4(AlGa)3(PSi)11 metallic glass have been studied by differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). From the temperatures values of the main transformations, the glass-forming ability (GFA) and the thermal stability were calculated. The apparent activation energy and the frequency factor were evaluated by the Kissinger method, and an Arrhenius law estimates the constant rate of the crystallization process. Moreover, the as-quenched ribbons were magnetically characterized using thermomagneticgravimetry, vibrating sample magnetometry and Mِssbauer spectroscopy.
