Abstract :
A large shear flow under high-ratio differential speed rolling promoted the formation of a novel microstructure in which carbon nanotubes were uniformly dispersed and directionally aligned in the aluminum matrix. As a result, the processed composite exhibited a high yield stress (∼400 MPa) and good ductility (∼10%).
