Abstract :
This study investigated the microstructure, phase transformation and mechanical property of Ni–Mn–Ga particles/Mg composites. The Ni–Mn–Ga particles were well dispersed in the Mg matrix. The phase transformation temperatures of particles were not influenced by the matrix. Both compressive strength and ductility of the composites were improved by the particles.
