ATP Electronics: Amplitude-Time-Pattern for RPC detectors

A new electronic circuit has been designed, produced and tested that allows data acquisition from RPC-type detectors providing measurements of Amplitude, Time and Pattern (ATP) of hit-strip or pad-like channels. One ATP circuit provides on the same board the functions of front-end electronics for up to 36 input signals of negative or positive polarity, differential amplification with selectable gain up to ×100, logarithmic amplitude compression, 1 ns timing, data storage and data transmission.
