Abstract :
Methods to calculate conversion of high-speed ion beam energy into X-radiation implemented in multidimensional programs for thermonuclear synthesis problems are presented in the article. s of numerical studies on X-radiation generation efficiency as a function of radiation path in converter material, its initial density and other parameters defining conversion process are analyzed. Radiation transfer was calculated in different 2D approximations: diffusion, single-group kinetic and spectral kinetic. Hydrodynamic motion of the medium was taken into account.
