Inelastic X-ray scattering study on Ag K-shell electrons utilizing coincidence technique on a synchrotron radiation source

Inelastic scattering of X-rays from the Ag K-shell electrons have been studied utilizing coincidence technique on a third generation synchrotron radiation source. Optimization and the effect of source time structure on coincidence experiments are discussed. Comparison with the conventional X-ray and radioactive sources in coincidence measurements is made and the future of this technique on synchrotron sources is discussed.
