Abstract
The spectrometric characteristics of five types of polystyrene scintillation films with thicknesses of 10, 30, 50 and 80 μm and of analogous 250 μm thick plates irradiated with 239Pu, 238Pu and 226Ra sources of α-particles have been studied. The prospects of utilization of scintillation films as radiators for detection of heavy charged particles and measurement of their energy was experimentally shown.
