Abstract
The formulas for calculation of time-of-flight chromatic aberrations in the mirror and emission systems possessing straight optical axes have been obtained for large values of the energy spread in a beam. The conditions for time-of-flight focusing in energy up to and including the third order of magnitude and simultaneous space focusing are derived for the four-electrode axially symmetric mirror composed of axial cylinders of the same diameter.
