Abstract :
In the HELLAZ project, Micromegas chambers have been used with He at one bar and room temperature. Pulses due to the avalanch electron movement, as short as 4 ns at the base, that can follow each other within 7 ns, have been obtained with fast current preamps. The gain (106) allows a very good single electron efficiency.
