Charge-to-time converter for multichannel systems

A nongated charge-to-time converter covering 40 dB linear dynamic range with 25–2500 mV unipolar input voltage is described. The circuit operates with preamplifiers having current inputs and ionization detectors with high internal resistance. The designed converter is simple, stable, and does not require difficult efforts for an adjustment and is intended for multichannel systems.
