Abstract :
Beamline control system in the SPring-8 is integrated by unified applications at all beamlines. That is the control, the data acquisition, the network and the interlock systems are constructed by the SPring-8 standard software framework and hardware components as we presented before (Ohata et al., J. Synchrotron Radiat. 5 (1998) 590.). The system is designed adopting the same control framework as that of the SPring-8 storage ring in order to realize smooth operation between facilities (Tanaka et al., ICALEPCS’95, Chicago, USA, 1995, p. 201.).
September 1997, the beamline control system has been supplied to almost every beamline and the number of optics equipment has grown up to support new beamlines. In this paper, we describe the outline of the beamline control system and the status of the latest projects.
