Abstract
The non-ultrarelativistic impedance of a ferrite kicker with window frame magnet is investigated. Analytical expressions for both longitudinal and transverse impedances are obtained. The solution of the electromagnetic problem is given in terms of a dual series expansion, and the non-ultrarelativistic corrections are derived. The results obtained are crosschecked with the ultrarelativistic results. Numerical estimations of the variation of the kicker impedance with beam energy are also given.
