Abstract :
The CMS experiment will be equipped with the largest silicon tracker ever built. This tracker will consist of about 25,000 silicon sensors, which will cover an area of more than 200 m2. The access to these sensors will be very limited during the planned 10 years of operation. Two quality test centers will perform long-time stability tests on a representative sample of sensors to ensure a steady and reliable behavior during the planned period of operation. These test centers are based in Strasbourg and Vienna.
