Application of parallel computing to simulation of chaotic dynamics

This work is concerned with the problems arising in simulation of the “Forest-Fire” model. The major goal of our research is to obtain the statistics of large fires and to understand its laws, but the enormous volume of the necessary computing is one of the difficulties in this problem. Here we discuss two ways of how parallel computers may help to overcome the difficulty.
