Methodological effects in Si(Li) detector efficiency calibrations

The effects of radioactive calibration source thickness and correlation among fitted parameters when using the model-based detection efficiency formulation are investigated. A simple procedure is used to correct for source attenuation effects. Separate low- and high-energy model fits demonstrate the absence of significant correlation effects.
