Abstract :
A spectrometer was constructed to measure the invariant mass spectra of ρ, ω and φ mesons through their e+e− or K+K− decays. The KEK experiment E325 was successfully carried out using the new spectrometer, and observed the signature of an in-medium mass modification of the ρ and/or ω mesons for the first time. The details of the spectrometer are described.
