Abstract :
We have constructed quasi-sheet quadrupole triplet magnets from homogeneously magnetized Nd–Fe–B prisms whose base angles and magnetizations we calculated to obtain the focusing gradients required by the reverse orbits of a recirculating electron accelerator. We describe here the triplet design, construction, tuning, measured parameters, and operation.
