Abstract
Limited streamer mode has been studied in a single wire cylindrical counters with cathodes diameter 8, 10, 14 mm and anodes diameter 20 and 30 μ m , filled with Ar + 20 % CO 2 mixture. For working gas pressure of 0.3, 0.5 and 0.65 MPa the 90 % transitions from proportional to SLS mode were manifested, while this effect was not observed for lower pressure.
