Leaky-tank reservoir model including the non-Darcy effect

An improved and generalized leaky-tank reservoir model is derived and implemented. The new model incorporates the effects of the non-Darcy flow and partial water drive, and it can be used for determination of reservoir permeability, thickness and water drive strength from deliverability test data. The formulation presented in this paper provides better insights into the implication of the inherent considerations of the leaky-tank model.
