Corrigendum to: “An L-statistic approach to a test of exponentiality agains IFR alternatives” [Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference 138 (2008) 3144--3148]

Mitra and Anis (2008) describe a new test procedure for testing exponentiality against IFR alternatives. In this note a (printing) error in the asymptotic variance of n T n ⋆ when H 0 is not true is pointed out and corrected.
