Abstract :
The bearingless induction motor, which combines the induction motor and magnetic bearing is a strongly coupled complicated nonlinear system; the decoupling control of the electromagnet torque and radial levitation force is the base of the stable operation of the bearingless motor. In this paper, the air-gap motor flux oriented vector control is proposed to realize the decoupling control of this nonlinear system even in the transient case based on the levitation principle. Simulations show the stable suspension and good performance of the proposed algorithm.
