Climat et néolithisation de lʹEurope méditerranéenne

Résumé ution du climat, pendant la période néolithique, a été sûrement cruciale pour lʹavènement dʹune économie de production, en relation avec le milieu naturel. Il est intéressant à ce sujet, de suivre alors, entre 10000 et 2000 BC, les changements écologiques de la partie européenne de la Méditerranée septentrionale et ceux, très différents, de la partie africaine au sud, qui connaît deux séquences désertiques aux lourdes conséquences humaines. Inversement, lʹEurope méridionale néolithique développe alors une société nouvelle, rurale et marchande, avec la construction des premiers villages, lʹoccupation des îles liées à des commerces spécialisés (obsidienne, cuivre, poteries⋯), recherche dʹidentités sociales (grands travaux dont fortifications et mégalithes) et religieuses (déesse mère et ancêtres) entraînant parfois des conflits guerriers. The evolution of the climate during the Neolithic time was surely crucial for the beginning of an economy of production, in relation with the natural environment. It is interesting to follow the different situations between 10000 and 2000 BC, the ecological change of the European part of the Mediterranean and the two desert sequences in the Sahara and in North Africa, with dramatic human consequences. On the other way, the Neolithic Europe develops in the south, a new rural and merchant society with the building of the first villages, the occupation of islands which are involved with special trades (obsidian, copper, pottery), research of social identities (big travels like fortifications and megaliths) and of religious ones (goddess and ancestors) bringing weapon conflicts.
