Abstract :
Modeling of the M2 tide on the Siberian Arctic Shelf and adjacent continental slope is performed. The initial boundary-value problem for the equations in the form of contravariant fluxes is integrated on a non-uniform curvilinear grid. An M2 tidal chart is given and interpreted. A tidal energetic balance and generalized energetic characteristics of the shelf and contiguous zone are presented.
