Abstract :
Three extinct new species of scoliid wasps referable to the genus Cretoscolia Rasnitsyn, 1993 within Archaeoscoliinae, Scoliidae have been recovered from the Laiyang Formation in Laiyang, Shandong, China: Cretoscolia formosa, C. laiyangica and C. rasnitsyni. The diagnosis of Cretoscolia is emended based on these new species.
