Fundamentals of the dynamics in concentrated suspensions

Recent advances in the study of the dynamics of colloidal suspensions include progress in the treatment of hydrodynamic interactions in simulations of concentrated colloidal suspensions in equilibrium conditions, advances in the computation of the long-time behavior of suspensions, and the elucidation of the orientational motion of anisotropic or nonspherical particles. Some open questions concerning the relationship between self-diffusion and rheology still remain.
