Scattering studies of complex fluids in confinement

X-ray and neutron scattering are rapidly becoming important tools for the nondestructive study of complex fluids under confinement. Phase transitions in porous media, structural, modification of complex fluids deposited on micropatterned substrates, and studies involving the modification of surface-fluid interactions are examples of recent advances in the field.
