Dynamics of surfactant layers

Recently, advances in the long time dynamics of surfactant monolayers at fluid interfaces have taken place. These include developments in adsorption-desorption kinetics, transport inside and across monolayers, surface rheology, evolution of microstructures after small or large perturbations, thin film behavior including wetting films, and foam and emulsion behavior. Research in the field of surface compression viscoelasticity has also recently been intensified.
