Abstract :
The asteroid (51) Nemausa attained the small solar phase angle 0.64° on 1994 September 24.90 and was observed in Strِmgren uvby at La Silla between September 25.0 and 27.4 UT, where the phase angle varied from 0.64° to 1.37° and the phase factor in y was found to vary during rotation in the range 0.05 to 0.13 mag\deg. This confirms earlier found variation, but the high values observed here are due to the opposition effect. The approximate 11 : 3 orbital resonance with the Earth allows certain identification of minor details by comparing seven lightcurves separated 5.5 years observed since 1983.
