Abstract
Change is inevitable in todayʹs dynamic environment. Organizations should adapt the
changing environment in order to survive. Therefore, they need to implement the change
strategies that can coordinate the activities of organization with the environmental
conditions and changes. This paper intended to determine the relationship between the
implementation of such change strategies (power, compulsion (compulsory), rationalexperimental
(verbal),
normative-
retraining
(cooperative)
and
transformational)
and
longterm
performance of organizations in serving organizations. Descriptive study was
conducted from the perspective of branch correlation. This study was a descriptive
correlational research. A questionnaire was designed to measure basic concepts of the study
and research data was analyzed using statistical tests. The final results indicated that the
implementation of cooperative and transformational change strategies had a positive effect
on the performance of organization in the long-term; however, compulsory and verbal
strategies had a negative effect on the performance of organization in the long-term.
