Abstract :
In Part I [Engng Fract Mech (2002;69:1093–110)] fracture tests on welded tubular T-joints made of a high strength TMCP-steel were presented. The aim of this investigation was to supply reference solutions for an evaluation of various analytical failure assessment methods. In the present paper, the engineering treatment model 97/1 procedure of GKSS will be applied to the T-joints. Different approaches for the input and model parameters will be discussed as well.
