Some comments on the paper: Review of fracture toughness and standards (EFM, 2012, vol. 85, 1–46)

The present paper gives comments on specimens to be considered for fracture toughness experiments. It is emphasized that the similarity between compact tension specimens, C(T), and cracks in real structures is often disregarded.
