Integration of the EU HCPB Test Blanket Module system in ITER

The integration of the HCPB Test Blanket Module (TBM) systems into ITER has been investigated with the aim to check the compatibility between the considered systems and ITER. In particular the requirement of a simple and quick TBM replacement is considered in this paper. It presents the systems and operations in hot cell and port cell for the integration and exchange of the four different TBMs in succession during operation into the ITER-circuits. This concept shows that TBM integration using three interfaces is a simple and quick way that is compatible with ITER environment and systems.
