Abstract :
This paper illustrates a method to deal with the decision making problems in case of uncertainty. This methodology, devoted to brain informatics, is based on an abstraction and a simulation of some brain’s emotional processing mechanisms using the fuzzy sets theory. To prove the performance of the proposed method, we have studied a problem of websites ranking which represents an important research theme in the World Wide Wisdom Web (W4). Based on the results, we have realized that underestimating the fuzziness of information by dealing with them as only as abstract elements, could significantly affect the final conclusion and automatically the final decision.
